The final meeting of UNCAP project was held on 29th-30th November in Thessaloniki (GR).
Almost all of the Work Packages are on schedule for completion of the entire set of deliverables by the end of the year, and the coincident end of the project.
On 1st December a workshop entitled “Ubiquitous healthcare and e-coaching technologies for the elderly” took place. The care of elderly people was at the core of the workshop, their well being and how to achieve healthy and active ageing.
The workshop pulled together the work of several EU funded projects in the form of presentations and keynote speeches. Not only did this give the opportunity for the results and activities of UNCAP to be presented to an international audience, it provided a platform for the kick-off meeting of the CAPTAIN project, Personalised coaching for well-being and care of people as they age, and was hosted by Professor Panos Bamidis (see photo) as coordinator of the CAPTAIN project.
